The Soldiers’ Charity gives donation to Hospice UK
The national charity for hospice care, Hospice UK, has been given funding by ABF The Soldiers’ Charity to help with the it work it undertakes with soldiers and veterans throughout the country.
Tracey Bleakley, Chief Executive of Hospice UK said: “ABF The Soldiers’ Charity has now supported Hospice UK for over 20 years. In this time the support has made an incredible difference to our work as the UK’s national charity for hospice care. Hospices care for members of the army family in every community across the UK. Thanks to this generous grant from The Soldiers’ Charity, we can continue to champion and support the incredible work of more than 200 hospices, ensuring that their staff – doctors, nurses and volunteers – have the training and resources they need to provide outstanding hospice care to thousands of patients. With the support of The Soldiers’ Charity, we can make sure that all serving soldiers and veterans receive the best possible care at the end of their lives.”
