We are delighted to announce that The Savoy has launched their 2017 charitable partnerships with two causes close to the heart of the hotel. Both The Soldiers’ Charity and Hope & Homes for Children use their global presence to respectively better the lives of soldiers, veterans and their families in need, and ensure that children are removed from institutional care and placed into a loving family.
Throughout 2017, The Savoy will work closely with The Soldiers’ Charity to raise vital funds and awareness through staff and hotel initiatives, from events and fundraising activities to volunteering.
Emma Allam, Director of Communications at The Savoy said: “We felt that a partnership with the Army’s National Charity was a great fit for The Savoy because of our shared heritage, professionalism and dedication. We know our staff, guests and suppliers will enjoy getting behind such a great cause. Whether they’re promoting awareness, generating financial support, or demonstrating the substantial difference they’re making, The Soldiers’ Charity is an organisation The Savoy remains consistently proud to put its name to.”
Major General (Ret’d) Martin Rutledge, Chief Executive, ABF The Soldiers’ Charity adds: “We are extremely grateful to The Savoy and its staff for their commitment to supporting the Army Family. This partnership will help to raise important funds that will make a real impact to soldiers and veterans, and their dependents, in need of assistance.”
