We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing away of Major General His Grace The Duke of Westminster KG CB CVO OBE TD CD DL.
The Duke had a very distinguished career in the Army Reserves and was closely involved in the military throughout his life. His championing of soldiers and veterans – and especially the support he gave personally to our Charity – will be very fondly remembered. Amongst other things he served as President of our Chester & Wirral Committee for over 40 years and regularly supported many of our events and other activities. Our thoughts are with his family at this time.
