Tandem skydiving is the easiest and most hassle-free way to make your first parachute jump. You will be in a dual harness, securely attached to your instructor who will give you a taste of what skydiving is all about. You’ll experience the amazing thrill of free-falling from 12,000 ft and enjoy a long parachute descent.
Skydive Northwest is one of the longest established centres in the UK, taking pride in providing skydiving experiences for over 40 years! A tandem skydive requires only a few minutes of training and is the safest and most popular choice for first time skydivers.
Registration for our charity tandem jump in the NW is only £50 and all we ask participants is to commit to raising £300. You can register HERE
We have various dates available in 2023. Once you have reached your fundraising target a member of the team will contact you directly, to discuss suitable dates for your jump.

The minimum age is 16. Anyone under 18 must have parental consent. There is no upper age limit for Tandem Skydives.

By registering to skydive with us, you are agreeing to help fundraise for the Army Benevolent Fund.
Online fundraising
Once you have registered you will be prompted to set up a fundraising page via our website.
However if you would prefer to use Just Giving, you can join the Army Benevolent Fund Just Giving team page HERE.
Online fundraising is the easiest way to fundraise and we encourage you and/ or your team to regularly share your fundraising page with friends and family via social media.

We can also post you resources such as sponsorship forms, collection tins, and posters and balloons for your fundraising events. Terms and Conditions – you agree to:
To abide by any terms and conditions set for AFC Skydive relating to health, safety and medical issues. You must ensure that you are medically fit to participate.
To obtain and pay all monies pledged through your efforts to the Army Benevolent Fund. If you are unable to obtain the minimum target amount of sponsorship you are liable to forfeit your place on the Skydive or you may choose to make up the balance yourself.
In return for a guaranteed the Army Benevolent Fund place on the Skydive, you must pay to a non-refundable registration fee of £50.00 per person and commit to raising a further minimum amount (not including Gift Aid) of £300.00 sponsorship, hopefully more. The minimum sponsorship does not include your non-refundable registration fee. The full sponsorship must be paid to the Army Benevolent Fund before you can Skydive. Failure to do so means that you must may forfeit your place.
To tell sponsors that the money raised benefits the Army Benevolent Fund (a registered charity in England and Wales 1146420; SCO39189 in Scotland).
That donations already made and processed by the Charity will not be refundable if you do not participate in or complete the event. Should your sponsors not wish their donation to go to the Army Benevolent Fund in the event of your non-participation, they should apply to have the donation refunded by contacting the Army Benevolent Fund Regional Office at the address above. Any monies held by you should, in the event of non-participation, be returned to the sponsors unless they agree to still donate it to the Army Benevolent Fund.
To ask sponsors to send their monies directly to you, not the Army Benevolent Fund.
To inform the Army Benevolent Fund of any additional public event you are organising in order to raise the required sponsorship.
To keep the names of your sponsors (we may ask for their details for Gift Aid purposes). An official Gift Aid-compliant sponsor form will be included in your fundraising pack.
Not to reproduce the the Army Benevolent Fund logo without permission or bring the Army Benevolent Fund’s name into disrepute.
You agree to raise all money using legal methods and complying with the advice given in the fundraising pack.
You agree to the Army Benevolent Fund storing the information that you provided on their database. Please see our Privacy Policy for details (see our website for further details) and complete your communications preferences within this application form.
You give the Army Benevolent Fund permission to use any photographs/videos taken of you at this event, to raise awareness and/or money for the Charity’s work with soldiers, veterans and their families.
As we rely on the income from sponsorship to support the Charity’s work, if you do not raise the minimum target of £300.00, you may be asked to pay the balance yourself.
