ABF The Soldiers’ Charity is proud to award Finchale Group a £50,000 grant to provide intensive support for veterans coping with complex problems in the North East.
Finchale is a long-term partner of our charity; providing personalised case-managed support for Armed Forces veterans across employability, education and training, wellbeing, finances, family life and more. Its emphasis is on supporting veterans to overcome challenges in order to find work and have a more structured lifestyle.

This £50,000 grant will be used to expand Finchale’s capabilities by employing a new Navigator to assist the Case Manager who works closely with veterans and determines the type and level of support they need. Those requiring “lighter touch” support, for example a simple referral or initial advice and guidance, will be supported by the Navigator. This will enable the Case Manager to focus on complex cases that require more intensive support. Funding from our charity has made this possible and will ensure that Finchale can reach more veterans and maintain a higher level of support.
